Did you know the rapper Future, is coming to Philly in February? Me either. I just found out a few days ago. I'm not a huge "Trap-A-Holic" type of girl but as a fashionista, my first thought is always how can I help you find the perfect outfit if you're planning on attending. And in the featured photo, I've provided two looks you can recreate.
Look #1 - Mosh Pit
The first look is ideal for anyone who wants to be super comfortable. Leave your coat in the car [let's be real, who wants to dance up a sweat with a coat tied around their waist?]. This look features a Reebok Combat Sleeveless Hoodie and Ripped Skinny Denim Pants for a relaxed look that screams "I'm here to dance, bounce, bop, mop, and whatever else you do in mosh pits". Now, here's a rule of thumb to live by: when you're going to be in a crowded place with "dancing, jumping, and rapping" people, you want a thick shoe that covers your toes. We don't have time for injuries. That is why I've included Dr. Marten's Boots because they're solid and fly but if you're on the short side like me [I'm 5'1], I've added Chunky Platform Boots because platform boots are crazy comfy. No outfit is complete without earrings so I threw in some black round studs. No need to add extra jewelry because you'll be too busy dancing to keep track of if they fell over when you chest bumped your best friend during that one "turn up" song.
Look #2 - VIP
This second look is specifically for those who want to sit pretty all night in the VIP lounge of the concert venue. Nude has been my favorite winter color this year so we'll stick with that color pallet but remember, you can recreate this look with any color scheme you choose.
To me, dresses are the epitome of glam so I've chosen the Rumour London -Claudia Oatmeal Ribbed Turtleneck Dress for an easy sophisticated look. For those of you who are wondering about the length, it stops right above your knee and if you're a little shorter, then it will fall below the knee. This dress will keep you warm and chic at the same time! More bang for your buck if you ask me. Next, we have two pairs of shoes: Gianvito Rossi Suede Ankle Boots [I've literally been obsessing over these boots for a few weeks now] and the Gucci Python Horsebit Knee Boots [these are just boss status]. To sum up the look, I've added an Emily Cho Envelope Clutch, a ridiculously expensive Chanel Premiere 18k Gold Chain Watch with Diamonds, Loushelou Champagne Diamond Studs, Yves Saint Laurent's Rouge Volupte Lipstick in the color Ultimate Beige, and OPI nail polish in the color, Samoan Sand. Whew! That was a lot of name dropping BUT you can't say all that work was worthless. You now have THEE hottest outfit and you don't have to freeze during a cold February night waiting for the VIP doors to open.
Which look would you rock to a concert? What are some of your favorite concert staples?
