Last night, I was given the ultimate VIP treatment for the Lady Gaga concert at the Wells Fargo Center and I owe it all to Verizon’s incredible rewards program, Verizon Up. Verizon Up is a new rewards program that provides customers with once-in-a lifetime experiences, VIP tickets to events and everyday rewards. For this program, Verizon is partnering with Lady Gaga on her U.S. Tour and is giving Verizon Up participants the opportunity to win VIP experiences.
About a week before the Joanne concert hit Philadelphia, Verizon sent me a Moto Z2 Play and a Mophie juice pack (an external battery) to help capture all of the excitement of the evening.
Once I arrived for the concert, I was in store for an action packed night. After checking in and receiving my credentials, I was given notice that I was not allowed to take photos or record anything backstage *insert HUGE eye roll*. After an overview of the rules, I was escorted to the catering area where an amazing dinner spread had been prepared for the VIP group. After dinner, there was an exclusive tour of the backstage area and we had a mini dance party during the band’s sound check.
At the conclusion of the backstage tour, we were escorted to the VIP suite for some partying and Gaga pre-gaming. After about an hour of hanging out, the announcement came – it was time to take photos with Lady Gaga! We weren’t allowed to take photos with our phones but there was a professional photographer that captured our moments. All photos must first be approved by Gaga’s management team before we can have them so we were told to expect them in about 10 business days ( I’ll be sure to upload the photos once I receive them).
After the photos, we headed to our seats for an explosive performance! Lady Gaga came to Philadelphia and left her heart on the stage! She performed a few tracks from her fifth studio album, “Joanne”, but the majority of the concert was laced with sweet nostalgia from her earlier hits such as “Poker Face”, “Love Game”, and “Born This Way”. There was a moment in the concert when Gaga serenaded her ‘special guest’ of the evening, Owen, turning the hard-hitting club hit “The Edge of Glory” into a dreamy power ballad.
Gaga ended our evening with a special encore performance of “Million Reasons” and it was the perfect way to end the first leg of her U.S. Tour. Her next destination will be Rio, Brazil followed by the United Kingdom.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to see Lady Gaga live, you must! She puts on a performance of a lifetime! Thank you again to Verizon for this amazing experience, I had such a remarkable time. Remember to enroll in the Verizon Up rewards program for your chance to be gifted some premium experiences, VIP tickets, and everyday rewards!
