Philly Beer Week kicked off with Chill Moody's electric performance at Heritage Jazz Bar. Last Friday, Moody guided guests into an extreme dance party while officially launching nicethingsIPA, a partnership with Philadelphia’s Dock Street Brewery.
I'm always on board for an epic launch party and this was definitely epic! Moody packed out the entire Heritage restaurant! It took patience and an agile body to maneuver through this tightly packed crowd. Luckily, I was able to park my booty in a vacant seat at the bar to watch the show. While I wasn't directly in front of the stage, my view was pretty incredible due to the amount of people that housed this venue.
The event was so much fun! I met so many funny and amazing people. Everyone in attendance had positive personalities and just wanted to have a good time. There was plenty of laughter in the air that intertwined with the melodic grooves of Moody's performance which created such a dope atmosphere. If you weren't there on Friday night, you definitely missed out.
During Moody's set, he made an announcement that his nicethingsIPA was on it's 2nd tap, which is a significant accomplishment for someone who launched their beer that same night! The event lasted well into the early morning hours of Saturday and frankly, it was a special time. I look forward to the next Chill Moody performance, I know it's one that I wouldn't want to miss!
