Well fashion lovers, spring is only a few weeks away and it's time to shake the wrinkles out of the spring clothes you've packed away. You want to know what's better than pulling out your favorite pieces from last year? Buying NEW pieces for this year! I've come up a with an amazing Spring essentials list of all the spring favorites from the stores we love! Now, I love shopping as much as the next person but affordability is very important. I can love an item as much as I want but if it's too expensive, I won't even consider purchasing it (unless I really, really want it). That's why this list is full of essentials that are $50 or less.
Feel free to look around. If you're interested in finding out more about the items listed, just click on the picture to be directed to the store's website. Wha-la! Window shopping made SUPER easy!
Wow, it's so hard to believe that Philly Fashion Week is over.. I was able to experience four days straight of pure creativity and I would do it again in a heart beat. To some, Philadelphia may be a sleepy city with not much going on but I assure you, there is excitement around every corner if you look for it. The final night of Philly Fashion Week was the best night of all. For this show, the designers featured couture and avant garde fashions and I couldn't take my eyes off the runway even for one minute. Each piece presented displayed so much character and dedication. During the show the audience would explode with applauds and cheers when a breathtaking design touched the runway. I could explain the my favorite designs but it would be way more interesting if I just showed you.
Every girl has the right to dream and these are the shoes that I dream of often....
Spring is around the corner which means it's time to break out the spring/ summer shoes. I'm not a big fan of wearing heels in the winter since it's always so cold and icy but during the Spring and Summer months, the world is my runway! I was doing some window shopping on a shoe site, CiCi Hot, and before I knew it, I had 7 fabulous pairs of shoes that were in my shopping cart that would be perfect for any occasion and I want to share them with you!
Day 2 of Philly Fashion Week has wrapped up and it was another fabulous evening. The turnout was much smaller than Day 1 but the designers did not disappoint. I was able to claim my same seat in the middle of the press section (yes!) but we were still tightly packed (boo!). On this particular evening, the focus was menswear and I was excited to be introduced to an eclectic display of men’s clothing. Normally when I think of men’s clothing I think of suits and ties but tonight, my perspective changed for the better.
Hey, I'm Njeri!
