Most girls dream of their wedding day before they hit the age of 13. The idea of being a queen for a day would excite any woman but finding the perfect dress is what makes the dream a tangible reality. For Lillie Designs, the shapes and textures of the dresses that came out to play during Philadelphia Fashion Week's "The Vault" enticed the crowd and stole the show.
I was first introduced to Lillie Designs at Philadelphia Fashion Week F/W 2016. This four day event was packed with street wear, menswear, and couture designers that each took their turns commanding the runway with their sky-scraping models and amusing designs. With each night that passed, I always left the shows entertained but never in love with the designs that I saw, until the final night. The final night of Philly Fashion Week, I was introduced to Lillie Designs by Latasha and immediately I was drawn to the avant-garde displays that gracefully floated up and down the runway. Each design was intricate and commanded a keen eye to appreciate the hard work and dedication that went into each dress.
Fast-forward to April 24th, 2016, The Vault Show. On this night, I was reintroduced to why I love Lillie Designs. The creativity that these dresses displayed were breathtaking. I know that pictures are worth a thousand words but seeing these designs in person will definitely tell a different story.
