So today is the first snow day of the year. Normally I would be super stoked for the first snow fall of 2017 but my job did not close (like all of its counterparts). I still had to venture to work in this grossness. During my commute, the harsh winds forcefully pushed my body in every way it desired, snow constantly bypassed my winter hood to gracefully land and melt on my freshly pressed hair (which is now a fizzy mess *rolls eyes*). Needless to say, I was not a happy traveler today. However, I'm happy to announce that I did make it to work safely and my faithful list of duties for the day were there, waiting to warmly greet me *insert an even bigger eye roll*. So before I lose myself in the world of Alternative R&B as I grind out these assignments, let me quickly share with you all of the things that I'd rather be doing instead of being at work.
Listening To Podcast Episodes of The Fashion Disclosure
The Fashion Disclosure is literally my favorite podcast of all time but then again....I am a bit biased.
Watching A Movie
I mean, who wouldn't want to snuggle up under the covers to watch a very interesting movie?
I'm always in the mood to purchase clothing and shoes that remind me of summer.
Making Hot Chocolate
There is nothing better than a fresh cup of homemade hot cocoa.
Because there is no such thing as enough sleep.
I feel baking and snow go hand in hand. You're supposed to do things you wouldn't normally do when it snows.
Bienge Watching A Netflix Series
How can you say no to watching A Different World from start to finish??
Watching Youtube Clips of Betsy DeVos Being DEMOLISHED by Democratic Senators
I still don't know how this woman became Education Secretary (well, that $200 million donation that her family "possibly" contributed to the Republican party over the years definitely could have helped) but watching her struggle to find ways to dance around questions is definitely giggle worthy.
Reenacting Chopped with Random Ingredients from My Kitchen
I'm definitely a 'Chopped' fan and challenging yourself to make meals with odd ingredients provides an excitement like no other.
